If you
are arranging bus transportation, please contact Ashley Wilkinson at the US
Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation at 202-332-0994 or outreach@endtheoccupation.org
to tell us where you will be parking so that we can liaise with you and insure
smooth transportation to the rally.
Union Station Union
Station, located just a five minute’s walk from the rally on the West Lawn of
the Capitol, has parking available for buses.
There are 50-60 bus parking spaces available at Union Station on a
first-come, first-serve basis. The rates
for this type of parking are $20 from 7AM-7PM and $10 from 7PM-7AM. Because of the limited parking space
available, Union Station strongly recommends that you make a reservation for a
bus parking space, which costs $50 for a 24-hour period (7AM-7AM).
From
Union Station’s webpage
on parking:
Motorcoach (bus) / Recreational vehicle parking is available in the attached
parking garage for vehicles with a 13 foot clearance. As of June 2005, the
parking garage will be undergoing construction for its new parking addition.
Once the expansion is complete, there will be more than 100 bus spaces available.
In the mean time, daily bus spaces will be available, first come, first serve.
We ask for your patience and that you please plan accordingly. Parking garage
access is available from Massachusetts
Avenue, NE – from a ramp on the East side of Union
Station and from H Street, NE.
Call USPGC LLC 202-898-1950 for rates and policies.
