With Just 0.7% of AIPAC's Budget...

December 27th, 2012

Our Top 10 Achievements in 2012

With less than 1% of the resources of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the most influential and powerful of the many groups comprising the Israel lobby, check out all of our significant victories and achievements in 2012:

We organized on the ground to help pass historic resolutions at the United Methodist and Presbyterian church assemblies to boycott Israeli settlement products.

Almost ten years of campaigning with member groups against Caterpillar culminated in TIAA-CREF divesting $73 million of stock in this corporation that profits from Israeli military occupation.

We educated millions of Americans through our op-eds, media releases and interviews in the mainstream media.

We organized support for the 15 courageous church leaders who sent Members of Congress a letter calling for an investigation into U.S. military aid to Israel.

We organized to help convince legendary singer Stevie Wonder to drop his performance at a "Friends of the Israel Defense Forces" benefit.

We released our first-ever policy paper laying out the financial, legal and moral rationale for ending U.S. aid to Israel and distributed it to thousands of decision-makers, members of the media and grassroots activists.

We continued to grow our coalition, which now includes 391 groups in 47 states, making our movement truly national in scope.

We now have sent packets to grassroots activists in nearly 1,100 U.S. cities and all 50 states to enable them to educate and organize people to end U.S. military aid to Israel.

We delivered your petition signatures in solidarity with Palestinian hunger strikers, for a U.S. investigation into Rachel Corrie's death, and against U.S. and Israeli discrimination against Palestinian-Americans in meetings with White House and State Department officials

We held our 11th Annual National Organizers' Conference in St. Louis where hundreds of representatives from member groups continued to build up our movement.

Think about it for a second. If we can win all these victories and organize so many successes with less than 1% of AIPAC's budget, then just imagine what we could do with only 5% or 10% of its resources.

Please help us get there in 2013 by making your generous, year-end tax-deductible contribution today to the US Campaign.

With much gratitude for your support that enables us to do this work,

-US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation
