Separate Is Never Equal: Stories of Apartheid from South Africa to Palestine, Fall 2008 National Tour


This national speaking tour brought internationally recognized human rights advocates Rev. Eddie Makue and Diana Buttu to 11 U.S. cities from November 10th to 23rd, 2008.

During the tour, we had public events and private meetings on10 campuses, 12 with faith communities, met with 3 congressional offices – find out more about the tour and what we achieved.


Separate is Never Equal Speaking Tour Success!
Thanks to the support of over 50 allied organizations. Our first national speaking tour was a success. We reached thousands of individuals and got dozens of media hits.

Eddie Makue, one of our featured speaker's at our upcoming Speaking and organizing tour this fall is one of the many signers. Mr. Makue is the General Secretary of the South African Council of Churches.
