Lodging in Atlanta
Conference participants are responsible for arranging their own lodging accommodations during their stay in Atlanta.  However, we have blocked rooms and made arrangements with two local hotels for conference participants.

Accessability:  Villa International is located on the #6 bus line to the nearest MARTA station, Atlanta’s public transportation system.  Airport shuttles are available for $20.  Villa International is approximately 15 minutes from Georgia State University by car.

Rates: Special conference rate for $74/per night for single or double.  This rate includes complimentary continental breakfast and high-speed wireless internet connection in each room. 
Accessability:  Fairfield Inn Downtown Atlanta is approximately 1/2 a mile from Georgia State University.  It is also within walking distance to MARTA, including rail to the airport.

Air Travel, Public Transportation and Parking in Atlanta
Atlanta is a hub for both Airtran Airlines and Delta Airlines.  We suggest checking these sites for airfare to Atlanta.  


is Atlanta’s public bus and rail system.  Georgia State University and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport are both located on MARTA rail lines.

There are several public parking lots on the campus of Georgia State University that charge hourly parking fees.  There is also metered street parking on campus (un-metered on Sunday).
