Call Now, Congressional Sign-On Letter Closes Today

A few weeks ago on the 28th anniversary of his killing, we asked you to sign a petition to Attorney General Eric Holder calling on the Department of Justice to hold accountable the murderers of Alex Odeh, the Southern California Regional Director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), a member group of the US Campaign.

Alex was killed by a pipe bomb that exploded as he opened the door to ADC’s office. The terrorist attack injured seven other people and demolished the office. The FBI identified three potential suspects belonging to the Jewish Defense League, who then fled to Israel where they remain at large.

Thanks to the combined efforts of thousands of supporters of ADC, the NAACP, Jewish Voice for Peace, the US Campaign and many other organizations, your advocacy is building momentum on behalf of justice for Alex Odeh!

Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA), who represents the district in which Alex was murdered, announced earlier this month that she is circulating a “Dear Colleague” letter calling on Members of Congress to join her in “sending a message to the FBI, that it is time to pursue this case until justice is done.”

Other Members of Congress, such as Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) and Rep. John Lewis (D-GA), have already joined call.

Please pick up the phone and call your Representative right now and ask your Member of Congress to add his/her name to this letter before it closes for additional signatures at the end of the day.

Get your Representative’s phone number here or call the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and asked to be connected to your Representative.

Please call today and do your part to continue to build the momentum to finally get justice for Alex and his family.

And be sure to let us know what your Representative’s office had to say in response

Thank you for taking action.

Your advocacy makes a difference!

Sincerely,
