Take Action: NU Students for Justice in Palestine Banned
Share this alert with your friends on Facebook and followers on Twitter.
On March 7, members of Northeastern University’s Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) were informed by the school’s Center for Student Involvement that their chapter had been suspended for at least a year for organizing a mock eviction action.
The administration at Northeastern University is punishing these students for doing nothing but bringing attention to Israel's daily violations of international law and human rights abuses. The university's actions are just the latest example of attempts to repress activism for Palestinian rights, especially on campuses.

Tomorrow, March 18, two members of the SJP will attend disciplinary hearings for leafleting student dormitories. Please take action now to support the students as they take a stand against the university's repression of free speech, a policy which is wholly incompatible with the open discussion and debate necessary for academic freedom to exist and thrive.
