The Ferguson/Palestine Connection

The link between Israel's state violence and police violence in Ferguson and across the United States is not only the systems of oppression such as racism and militarization.

Former County Police Chief Timothy Fitch was one of 15 American officials to participate in a week long training in Israel three years ago. Former St. Louis city police chief Joe Mokwa participated in a Law Enforcement Exchange Program (LEEP), which was created in cooperation with the Israel National Police, the Israel Ministry of Internal Security, and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) to support and strengthen American law enforcement counter terrorism practices.

These articles detail this type of collaboration.
