Help Plant Olive Trees in Palestine

This year's olive harvest in Palestine is under way, a major source of income for Palestinian farming families. And once again, the start of this important season has brought about violence as Israeli settlers set fire to more than 100 olive trees near Nablus in the West Bank.

Last year the United Nations reported that settlers damaged or destroyed nearly 11,000 olive trees and saplings in the West Bank. The trees were either burned, toppled by bulldozers, or cut down with chain saws. Since 1967, 800,000 olive trees have been uprooted by Israel, causing Palestinians to lose $12.3 million in income each year.

Donate $25 today to strengthen our work to end all U.S. support for Israeli occupation and apartheid, and we will plant one olive tree for a Palestinian farming family. If you contribute $100, we will plant five trees.

With conditions worsening in Gaza following Israel's assault this summer that caused $8 billion in damages, with increasing unrest in Jerusalem due to Israel's efforts to "Judaize" non-Jewish areas, with continued confiscation of Palestinian lands to build even more illegal settlements, we must do all we can to support Palestinians in the struggle for freedom, justice, and equality

Change is happening. Last month's announcement by Israeli company SodaStream that they will be shutting down their factory in an illegal settlement in the West Bank
is the latest evidence that business as usual is no longer acceptable. But this change is not happening fast enough for Palestinians who have now been living under occupation for more than 47 years or have been waiting to return home for 66 years.

Please donate what you can to the US Campaign to increase our ability to challenge U.S. policy towards Israel, support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanctions) campaigns nationwide, and help us plant 2,000 trees for Palestinian farming families.

Thank you for all you do for Palestinian rights.
