Help Us Reach Another Goal

December 30th, 2014

Below are 10 things your donations helped accomplish in 2014. While we celebrate the many strides we have made in our work for Palestinian rights, we are very aware that 2015 will begin with Palestinians still living under a brutal military occupation; Palestinians still facing apartheid policies; and Palestinians still waiting to return to their homeland. Please make your tax-deductible donation of $5, $25, $75, or more and help us grow our work for freedom, justice, and equality. You can also send a check to: US Campaign, PO Box 21539, Washington, DC 20009. As long as the check is dated December 31, 2014, it will be tax-deductible for the 2014 tax year.

Following a year of major boycott campaigns, Israeli occupation profiteer SodaStream announced it will be shutting down its factory in an illegal settlement in the West Bank.

We worked with a coalition of Palestinian and solidarity groups worldwide on a successful campaign urging the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to divest $184 million from G4S, which helps Israel run prisons where Palestinians are held and often tortured.

The US Campaign was on the ground supporting the Presbyterian campaign to divest from U.S. companies profiting from Israel's occupation, which resulted in a vote to divest $21 million.

During Israel's assault on Gaza during the summer, we generated thousands of media actions to push back on biased media coverage, and we helped press NBC to send Ayman Mohyeldin back to Gaza to continue his important reporting.

More than 40,000 signed our petition demanding the United States hold Israel accountable for its war crimes in Gaza.

We brought Tariq Abu Khdeir, a Palestinian-American teenager brutally beaten by Israeli police in Jerusalem this summer, and his mother Suha to Washington, DC to tell their story to lawmakers, the State Department, and the Obama administration.

Josh Ruebner has given nearly 150 talks in 90 cities and 30 states on his book Shattered Hopes: Obama's failure to Broker Israeli-Palestinian Peace

Our 2014 National Organizers' Conference in San Diego, CA was our largest ever with more than 400 people attending

We helped organize a Palestine contingent to the Ferguson Weekend of Resistance against police militarization, brutality, and racial profiling

The US Campaign has welcomed 21 new organizations to the coalition. Throughout the year we supported our member groups by promoting their actions, campaigns, and events both locally and nationally to our more than 200,000 supporters.

You can learn more about our work by reading our 2014 newsletter, downloading our annual report, or watching this video. And don't forget to make
your tax-deductible donation before midnight on December 31.
