HP Holding Virtual Shareholder Meeting. Take Action Now!

Right now Palestinian rights activists are gathering outside of Hewlett-Packard's headquarters in Palo Alto, CA to hold a People’s Shareholders Meeting to coincide with the company's virtual shareholder meeting, a decision seen as motivated by a desire to avoid protests against the company's complicity in Israel's military occupation and war crimes against Palestinians. Last year dozens of activists both inside and outside of the shareholder meeting spoke out against HP's role in Israel's human rights abuses including providing services to the Israeli army and navy.

We need you to take action now to amplify the message that the use of HP technology by Israel to deny Palestinian rights such as freedom of movement harms peace and it is time the company follow its own commitments and end all complicity in Israel's violations of international law.

Join the Twitter storm today. Tweet using #BoycottHP, #HP, and #HPGPC. Click on the tweets below to automatically send them. You can also post on HP's official Facebook page

  • Why are human rights activists protesting #HP today? #BoycottHP

  • #HP provides technology to Israeli navy, which enforces blockade on Gaza since 2007 #HPGPC

  • #HP helps Israel deprive Palestinians of freedom of movement in their own land #BoycottHP

  • Are HP's partners ok with the company's complicity in Israel's occupation and apartheid? #HPGPC #BoycottHP

  • Learn why human rights activists are asking consumers to #BoycottHP #BDS

Make a quick call to HP's headquarters and ask them to end their complicity in Israel's crimes. Sample script: "Hello. My name is ______, and I am calling to ask HP to follow its own commitment to respecting human rights by ending its complicity in Israel's human rights abuses against Palestinians. HP contributes to Israel's system of segregation, provides services to illegal Israeli settlements built on stolen land, and helps the Israeli navy enforce a blockade on the Gaza Strip that deprives 1.8 million people of basic needs to survive. I am urging HP to stop profiting from Israel's denial of Palestinian human rights." Call 650-857-1501 and then dial 0. Office is open 8am-5pm PDT. Once you make the call, please click here to let us know how it went.
