Statements by Sen. Enzi on Israel/Palestine:

Position Paper for Michael Enzi on International Policy
10/07/2002
I believe that the United States has a central role to play in, and responsibility for encouraging, the Middle East peace process. I believe Israel has the right to continue to live in freedom and live without the threat of terrorism. It is in the United States' - and the world's - best interests for there to be peace in the Middle East. The United States can only be successful in helping to end the violence if both sides are willing to negotiate.
