CALL YOUR REPS NOW! On Wednesday, June 25, the House of Representatives is scheduled to take up House Resolution 294, introduced by Rep. Tom Lantos (D CA-12). The resolution is being taken up under "suspension," meaning that the normal committee process was bypassed and the House Leadership allowed it to go directly to the Floor of the House. Resolutions taken up under "suspension" cannot be amended and need a 2/3 majority to pass. The resolution is entitled: "Condemning the terrorism inflicted on Israel since the Aqaba Summit and expressing solidarity with the Israeli people in their fight against terrorism..."
