Join Us in Columbia, South Carolina, Nov. 3-4

I'd like to invite all US Campaign supporters in the Columbia, SC area to join me for two events this Thursday and Friday. Thursday evening, I'll be participating in a debate, organized by the Euphradian Society, at the University of South Carolina on whether Israel should withdraw to its pre-1967 borders. Guess which side I'll be arguing for?

Then, Friday morning, I'll be doing a teach-in at "Occupy Columbia" on military aid to Israel and whether South Carolina can afford the moral and financial costs of this U.S. policy.

Both events are free and open to the public. I hope to see you at one or both of them. More details are below.

"Military Aid to Israel: Can South Carolina Afford It?"
Teach-In at "Occupy Columbia"
South Carolina State House
Friday, November 4, 11:00 am

The United States is scheduled to give $30 billion of taxpayer money for weapons to Israel between 2009 and 2018. Can South Carolinians afford this military aid to Israel? We'll the examine the financial, legal, political, and moral implications of this policy and organize together to end military aid to Israel and redirect that money to unmet needs in our communities.
