Kathy Kelly, internationally known peace activist, twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, Kathy took part in ISM actions in Jenin, refugee camps, and Ramallah in 2002. An insightful, entertaining, and inspirational speaker, she told the stories of her time in Palestine in a speech recorded in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and captured in this videotape. Illustrated with dramatic footage of the devastation caused by the military incursion into Jenin, this video is an excellent introduction to the brutality of Israel’s occupation of the West Bank. Kathy Kelly's, a co-founder of Voices in the Wilderness, was in Baghdad as a human shield during the US bombing raids and reported regularly to activists in the US. Kathy Kelly, was recently sentenced to three months in federal prison protesting against the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, formerly known as School of the Americas.
