Author Discussion on "Occupied Voices"
Sunday, May 2nd 2004 2:00 pm
Wendy Pearlman first traveled to the Middle East on a routine to visit Israel but she found the plight of the Palestinians compelling. She returned and spent weeks in the West Bank and Gaza recording the stories of everyday people living under occupation. Her book, "Occupied Voices," presents those stories in each person's own words. She will summarize her book and her experiences in the region and lead a discussion with audience participation.
