Lecture by Norman G. Finkelstein

At 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28th , in Allen Hall on UB’s South Campus, Norman G. Finkelstein, Professor of Political Science at DePaul University, will deliver a lecture entitled “Israel and Palestine: Roots of Conflict, Prospects for Peace.” The lecture is free and open to the public, and a question-and answer period will follow.

Finkelstein, the son of Holocaust survivors, is a passionate critic of the Israeli occupation of Palestine. He is the author of four controversial but highly respected books: Image and Reality of the Israel-Palestine Conflict, The Holocaust Industry: Reflections on the Exploitation of Jewish Suffering, and, with Ruth Bettina Birn, A Nation on Trial: The Goldhagen Thesis and Historical Truth.
