VISIONS AND VOICES OF PALESTINE. WESPAC Foundation, in collaboration with Al-Jisser, presents an evening of art, music and poetry to support the "MADE IN PALESTINE" art exhibition. Saturday, November 20, 2004 from 5pm to 10pm at the Westchester County Center on 198 Central Avenue in White Plains, NY. $16 tickets will be available through ticketmaster at This evening is part of an effort to bring the "MADE IN PALESTINE" art exhibition, a stunning traveling show of contemporary art of Palestinians, to New York City. While many museums in the greater New York area have refused to host this show of 22 leading Palestinian artists, Al Jisser Group, with the help of Arab Americans and supporters of Palestinian rights, is dedicated to bringing this show, curated by museum director James Harithas, to New York City. This evening of visions and voices of Palestine will feature music and poetry, and will present several of the Palestinian artists featured in the MADE IN PALESTINE art exhibition. Featuring: art exhibition by Palestinian artists, art auction to support the MADE IN PALESTINE project, childrens' craft table, henna painting, Dabke dancing, music and poetry reading.
