Speaking For Peace From Jerusalem and Washington
Sunday, June 26th 2005 1:15 pm
Local participation in International Town Hall Meeting hosted by Rabbi Peter Knobel.
Clergy and civic leaders, who share the conviction that resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is an urgent priority, will speak from Washington D.C. and Jerusalem. In over 40 cities across the United States, Jewish, Christian and Muslim citizens will gather, hear from these distinguished speakers (via a projected internet feed), share thoughts about the views expressed, and "break bread together" as a community.
This is an unprecedented event that will use internet and video
technology to link Jewish, Christian and Muslim leaders and communities from Jerusalem, Washington, Europe, South America and over 40 other cities across the United States to discuss the possibilities of Israeli-Palestinian peace.
