“Palestine Today—Resistance and Everyday Life in the West Bank”

A slideshow and talk by Peter Chabarek of Global Exchange, a human rights organization based in San Francisco.

Peter will show highlights of his two week journey through the West Bank in November 2009. The Global Exchange group met with non-violent activists, lawyers, farmers, craftsmen, teachers, dramatists, businessmen, and others to investigate the current state of affairs in Palestine and the conflict with Israel. The group traveled throughout the West Bank, including Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jenin, Nablus, Hebron, farm villages, as well as East Jerusalem.

Tuesday, June 8, 7pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 40th and Donald, Eugene.

FREE and open to the public.
