Israel & Palestine: Views on the Conflict from an Acclaimed Israeli Reporter

Amira Hass is an award-winning correspondent for the Israeli daily, Ha'aretz. In her over 20 years covering Palestinian affairs in the occupied territories for Ha'aretz, Ms. Hass had spent three years living in Gaza, and she has lived in Ramallah since 1997. Her time in Gaza served as the basis for the highly acclaimed book "Drinking the Sea at Gaza" (Picador, 2000). Ms. Hass also wrote "Reporting from Ramallah: An Israeli Journalist in an Occupied Land" (Semiotext, 2003). Ms. Hass is the recipient of multiple awards and honors including the Sokolow prize, Israel's highest honor for journalists.
