Apartheid Made Exciting: Boycott SodaStream!

In 2015, SodaStream, the Israeli at-home carbonation company,  was forced to close its factory in the illegal West Bank settlement of the Mishor Edomin Industrial Zone following years of boycott campaigns worldwide.

The company still remains a target of boycott efforts. It's new factory is close to Rahat, a planned township in the Naqab desert where Palestinian Bedouins are being forcefully transferred.  Learn more about SodaStream's complicity in apartheid and colonization here

While SodaStream claims to be environmentally friendly, the reality is that the company is complicit in the environmental destruction Israel has caused to Palestinian communities. SodaStream's support for environmental causes is an example of greenwashing as it attempts to clean up its image as a company complicit in Israel's violations of Palestinian rights through PR campaigns.
