This Holiday Season: Boycott SodaStream!
Friday, November 29 marks the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People as well as Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year. Cyber Monday is December 2 and Tuesday, December 10 is Human Rights Day.
Your group can pick the most comfortable and appropriate day to take action ANY day(s) between November 29 and December 10. This period is when SodaStream traditionally amps up its promotional efforts as holiday shopping goes into full swing. Your activities and reports can unfold, one after another, during this exciting period!
Member groups in more than twenty U.S. cities are already planning to take part, as well as activists in Canada, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Australia! Click Join an Action below to see a complete list of participating cities.

The primary corporate focus of the Days of Action in the U.S. will be Target. For more than a year, Palestine solidarity organizations have been challenging Target and other vendors asking them to stop selling SodaStream products, which are produced in an illegal Israeli settlement through the exploitation of Palestinian land, labor, and resources. In September, Friends of Sabeel - North America sent a letter (see below) to the CEO of Target, outlining these grievances. Other faith communities from the Interfaith Boycott Coalition have signed on in support.
Does your group prefer to focus your Boycott SodaStream action on another corporate target? Thatís fine too!
Here are some actions that you can take as well as resources to help you plan. We'll be adding new resources and planned actions as they unfold!
