This U.N. publication mentions our steering committee member, Judith LeBlanc, who presented a statement on behalf of civil society organizations focused on the Palestine Question, this week at the U.N. in New York, at a special meeting of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, which met to observe the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

On Monday, November 22, The Russell Tribunal on Palestine announced its verdict after weekend deliberations on corporate complicity in Israeli violations of international law. Juror Michael Mansfield QC, who chaired the concluding press conference, announced the jury's call for the mobilization of civil society to end the involvement of companies in Israeli human rights violations. US activists and lawyers who testified at the tribunal included Josh Ruebner, national advocacy director for the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation.
