Israel’s horrific attacks on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip this summer make it more imperative than ever to raise awareness about how our government supports Israel’s oppression of Palestinians, organize people to challenge our complicity, and mobilize people to engage in boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) campaigns.

I’ll be doing that as I travel the country this fall for the newly-released, updated paperback edition of Shattered Hopes: Obama’s Failure to Broker Israeli-Palestinian Peace, which includes an analysis of Secretary of State John Kerry’s failed negotiations this past spring.

Help me bring these messages to thousands of people at libraries, religious institutions, universities and through local media by making a donation today to the US Campaign.

Donate $50 or more and I'll send you or a friend a signed copy of the book as a token of our thanks to you for supporting our work.

I’ve already done or have plans to do several dozen events this fall but I’ve still got a few openings in my schedule. Please let me know if you’re interested in organizing an event in your community.

Here’s what some people are saying about Shattered Hopes

Yousef Munayyer, Executive Director of the Palestine Center, called the book an “honest assessment of Washington’s failed peace attempts that anyone who genuinely cares about a just peace should read.”

Helena Cobban, former columnist, The Christian Science Monitor, and Founder and CEO, Just World Books, said: “Ruebner’s conclusion that US citizens cannot rely on political leaders to do the right thing by the Palestinians but must rely on continuing to build the civil-society movement to attain this is right on the mark.”

Max Blumenthal, author, Goliath: Life and Loathing in Greater Israel, stated: “Josh Ruebner has produced the authoritative autopsy of the US-led peace process...absolutely devastating.”

Here's a brief talk I gave at a recent event in New York on US support for Israel's attack on Gaza. Click here to watch the video.
